The pictures says it all. A phone with a kickass huge screen, reasonable speed and superb battery life at an amazing S$199.
I am glad I bought the RedMi Note.
To Samsung Mobile,
Dude, get a grip of your frigging products first before you freaking start bashing Apple. Everyone who reads TheGeekyBeng knows that I am no Apple iOS fanboy, but really, for a brand whose atrocious battery life is classified as Rotten, you really have irked the hell out of TGB who is gonna issue you a challenge!
I will take my Lumia 1520, my Sony Xperia Z2 to compete with your BEST newest Device in terms of battery life and see who wins!
The Next Big Thing is ALREADY OVER!
It is the Era of Sony, XiaoMi and Microsoft Nokia!
Thanks to Nokia Singapore, TheGeekyBeng have had the privilege of being one of the first 08 Singaporeans outside of Nokia Singapore to have the official set of the 5-inch beast Nokia XL – or as TGB prefers to call it, Nokia (Cross-over)L where X = Cross-over of UIs and operating system.
Here are the specifications:
Frankly speaking, the Nokia X family devices are, how should i put it nicely, major-atrocity out-of-the-box. I first encountered the Nokia X in Thailand when I was having my usual monthly pilgrimage to my retirement homeland in early May, took a shot of it and shared it on my Facebook with my friends. And when Nokia Singapore invited me to experience the XL for myself sometime in the last week of May, I had actually prepared to troll them with my RedMi and Sony Xperia Z2 that night. Opps! Sorry Nokia Singapore!
The ShameDung GaLazy aSs 5 launched in Singapore with a lot of noise but no actual crowd. As usual, TGB have friends all over the island who shares the same sentiments on how much of a crap the ShameDung’s products are.
So here are some of the pictures that friends TGB have shared with him. Thanks to R.ong for the images.
TGB have picked out a few things that might interest you.
